The moment the whole world is waiting for who will be Miss World has arrived. The name of the 71st Miss World has been revealed. This year’s beauty pageant was won by Kristina Pizkova from the Czech Republic, while Yasmina from Lebanon was the first runner-up.
The final act of the Miss World ceremony… The closing ceremony was held on 9th March (Saturday) at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, the financial capital of the country. Christina was declared the winner on this stage. Received the Miss World crown.
120 beautiful young women competed for the Miss World title this year. Krystyna Pišková won the title of Miss World. Last year’s Miss World winner, Karolina Bilawska, a resident of Poland, handed over her crown to this year’s winner, Krystyna Piczkowa. She was crowned as Miss World.
Sine Shetty’s dream of representing India was shattered
Sine Shetty represented India in this Miss World beauty pageant. She could not win this title. In fact, it succeeded in reaching the top-8. But Sine Shetty did not get a place in the top 4 contestants. With this, she is out of the race to win the Miss World crown. Sine Shetty was born in Karnataka but educated in Mumbai. Sine Shetty won Femina Miss India title in 2022.
Karan Johar as the host
Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar hosted the event and was supported by Megan Young, who won the Miss World title in 2013. Famous singers like Neha Kakkar, her brother Tony Kakkar and Shaan added beauty to the beauty show with their voice and acting. Miss World pageant was held in India after 28 years. Earlier in the year 1996 the 46th edition was held in India. This time this program was held in Mumbai city. 28 years ago it was held in Bangalore.
