PM Modi Open Letter:
Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be announced by the Election Commission today (16 March). Along with this, Model Code of Conduct rules will also be implemented in the entire country.
On the eve of the election announcement, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written an open letter to the countrymen. In his letter, the Prime Minister has mentioned the historic steps taken by his government. Which includes the abrogation of Article 370 and implementation of GST by the BJP government. Also, PM Modi has expressed gratitude to the people of the country for their support. He wrote that we are on the threshold of completing a decade of partnership with you people. In the letter, he has also sought suggestions to help fulfill the resolve of a developed India.
Told the citizens about his family
In his letter, Prime Minister Modi addressed the people of India as members of his dear family and said that the trust and support of 140 crore Indians inspires him to work. Regarding the work done by the Modi government for the poor, women, farmers and youth, he said that the biggest success of our government in the last 10 years is the change in the lives of the people. During this period, under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, permanent houses and access to electricity, water and LPG to all. The success of free medical treatment under Ayushman Bharat, financial assistance to farmers, assistance to women under Matru Vandana Yojana and many other efforts has been highlighted in his letter.
Unprecedented beginning of India’s new era
In his letter, the Prime Minister emphasized that his government has taken India forward by working together on both tradition and modernity. PM Modi further said that the country has witnessed both the unprecedented creation of next generation infrastructure and the rejuvenation of our rich national and cultural heritage. He told the citizens that it is only because of your trust and support that we were able to implement GST. Many historic and big decisions could be taken like removal of Article 370, bringing a new law on Triple Talaq, Nari Shakti Vandan Act to increase the participation of women in Parliament.
