In a village… if electricity goes out for ten days! ‘Line Man’ with a story that no one touches
Thrigun is a hero who has earned his own distinction by doing different films in Telugu and Tamil films. Now the hero is ready to make a grand entry in the Kannada film industry with the film ‘Lineman’.
It is noteworthy that this movie directed by V. Raghu Shastri is getting ready for release in Kannada and Telugu languages. Produced under the prestigious Purple Rock Entertainers banner, the film is co-produced by Prachuap, Kadri Manikant, Jyoti Raghu Shastri and Bhala Studio. The film ‘Line Man’ will release in Telugu and Kannada languages on March 22.
Talking about the movie Hero Trigun (Thrigun) on this occasion… Along with the story of the movie ‘Lineman’, the producers also sent me two other stories. But out of the three, I liked the story of Line Man the most. While being a fun entertainer, the movie also gives a good message. It also connected to me because it is about our nature. I have selected this story. I have done 23 films as an actor. But I will always remember the film ‘Line Man’ as a special film. I also felt proud of doing this film. With the story of a line man which no one has touched so far, the film is something that will generate interest among all.
In the current situation, we know how much we will suffer if the electricity goes out for an hour. Such a movie is about the situation in a village if there is no electricity for ten days. But the film is about why the line man cut off the electricity in the village all day long. There is a small heart touching moment. Director Raghu Shastri Garu is a good writer. I agreed to do the movie Lineman because I liked the point mentioned along with my connection with him. Ragha Shastri Garu directed the movie well. It feels like we are talking naturally like we are in our village.
Earlier, the producers wanted to make the film Lineman in Kannada. But as I had a good reputation here, they decided to release it in Telugu as well. They also planned the making in that way. The film has comedy, a small love points and a heart touching message. It has been fifteen years since I started my journey as an actor. Still like new. That’s why I am going with the idea of making new films. That’s what made me so memorable.
