‘Game changer’ OTT rights at a shocking rate, to whom and for how much.
It is known what range of expectations there are on the game changer coming in the combo of global star Ram Charan and star director Shankar. This is another Pan India film that falls under the Ram Charan craze.
Preparations are being made for the release of this film, which is set in the background of politics. In this background, the business of this film also gained momentum. Recently, the OTT rights of this film have been locked. OTT giant Amazon Prime has acquired the entire South Indian language rights of the film. But the Hindi rights are owned by another leading OTT platform, Zee5.
It seems that Amazon has paid 105 crores for these rights. It is not known how much G5 paid. Shankar and Ram Charan are the combo, and this rate is mentioned. The Tamil market will be a plus for Shankar. Also, Ram Charan set the flag in Hindi with his film R.R.R. The market was also added there. In this order, the big producer Dil Raju will get recovery through OTT.
Ram Charan will be seen as an election officer in this movie. Charan’s character name is Ram Nandan. The character was named to match the name of Ram Charan. The film is based on the revolutionary changes brought by Ram Nandan, an IAS officer appointed as the election officer of Andhra Pradesh. Charan’s role will bring changes to the policemen. T. who served as the Chief Election Commissioner and made politicians sweat in the country. N. It is heard that this story is based on some episodes from Seshan’s life. Seshan is recognized as a person who has undertaken radical reforms in the electoral field of the country. Many politicians say that ‘no one can be left behind’ but Sessions has shown it by practicing it.
Ram Charan said… ‘Game Changer’ is a completely different film from the films coming out today. Apart from addressing the contemporary political issues, the story, narrative and scenes in it are meant to raise the awareness of the common man by pointing out the flaws in the system. Shankar’s previous films like ‘Gentleman’, ‘Bharati Yadu’, ‘Oke Okedu’, ‘Aparichitudu’… this will come with a more interesting story than the informative stories shown by the movies. Out of my two roles, the role of the father is the highlight of the film,’ he said.
In fact, the shooting of this movie was already supposed to be over. It was being postponed due to many unavoidable reasons, in between, director Shankar was busy with Kamala Haasan’s Indian 2. The team is planning the side schedules without any interruption to the regular shooting and moving ahead. SJ Surya, Srikanth, Anjali, Jayaram and others are playing key roles in this movie. Taman is composing the music. Thiru is a photographer.
Ram Charan is playing a dual role as father and son. Cherry fans are eagerly waiting for the release of this movie which is going to be a political thriller. There is no update from this movie which was announced in 2021 except the title glimpses
