Candidates are busy filing their nominations for the Lok Sabha elections. An independent candidate from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh filed his nomination on Wednesday, who has drawn everyone’s attention.
Independent candidate Vinay Chakraborty wants to enter the political arena of Jabalpur. He has paid a sack of Rs 25,000 as security deposit in coins of Rs 2, Rs 5 and Rs 10. Talking to journalists, he said that I have paid Rs 25,000 in coins.
On this, Jabalpur Collector said that some people harass administrative officers in the guise of rules. Whereas Vinay Chakraborty says that he had gone to deposit security online. But the Election Commission does not have a system to take online payment. Therefore, he deposited in small change.
According to the information, Vinay Chakraborty, who studied LLB in Jabalpur, has bought nomination papers for the post of MP from Jabalpur Lok Sabha. According to the information of Jabalpur District Returning Officer and Collector Deepak Kumar Saxena, the payment made by the potential candidate in coins was received and its receipt was given to him.
Let us tell you that the process of filing nominations for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections started from Wednesday. Elections are to be held in 4 phases for 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Voting will be held for 6 seats in the first phase on April 19 in the state. After this, votes will be cast on 7 seats on April 26, 8 seats on May 7 and then on the remaining 8 seats on May 13.
In the first phase, votes will be cast in Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Sidhi and Chhindwara on April 19. In the second phase, on April 26, voting will take place in Tikamgarh, Damoh, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad, Khajuraho and Betul. Apart from this, voting will take place in Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Morena, Sagar, Vidisha and Bhopal in the third phase (May 7). Whereas, in the fourth phase, on May 13, voting will take place in Dewas, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Khargone, Ujjain and Khandwa.
