Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 runs in the third match of the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) on Saturday. In this exciting match played at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, Kolkata Knight Riders, batting first, scored 208 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Andre Russell (64) hit a stormy half-century. In reply, Hyderabad’s team could only score 204 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Heinrich Klaasen tried his best, but he could not make his team win.

Hyderabad got a good start

Wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen also lost his wicket in the same over. Klaasen, who was leading Hyderabad to victory, played an innings of 63 runs off 29 balls. During this, Klaasen hit 8 sixes. For Kolkata, Harshit Rana got 3 wickets, Andre Russell got 2 wickets and Varun Chakraborty-Sunil Narine got 1-1 wickets.
