Elderly persons are advised to leave their homes between 12 noon and 3 pm in case of emergency. It is better to carry an umbrella if possible.

Compared to coastal Andhra districts, high temperatures are recorded in Rayalaseema. A record temperature of 41 degrees was recorded in Nandy. North Coastal Andhra as well as South Coastal Andhra will be affected by hot winds. IMD advised that there is a chance of 2 to 3 degree rise in daytime temperature and people should take precautions from the sun. Light rain forecast for Rayalaseema. At the same time, due to the effect of hot winds in some places, the rainfall is going to increase. Officials have advised people to be careful as there is a possibility that people will be bothered by the heat even at night.
