Israel-Palestine War: Israel ready to release Palestinian prisoners, will release 700 prisoners in exchange for 40

Israel-Palestine War:

It has been 6 months since the war between Israel and Hamas. There is still no end in sight to this war. Meanwhile, news is coming that Israel has agreed to release the Palestinian hostages.

But Israel has said that if 40 Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza are released, then it has agreed to release about 800 Palestinian prisoners. Actually, this decision was taken during the talks held in Qatar every week. Among these prisoners, there are 100 prisoners who are serving life imprisonment.

Israel awaits Hamas’ response

According to Israeli media, a detailed document has been sent to Hamas about the deal. After which Hamas is waiting for the response of Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar. In fact, Mossad chief David Barnea met CIA Director William Burns, Qatar Prime Minister Mohammed al-Thani and Egyptian Intelligence Minister Abbas Kamal in Qatar to discuss the issue. During this, senior Hamas officials including Ismail Haniyeh were also present with them. At the same time, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed optimism about reaching an agreement on the deal two days before the talks in Doha. He also acknowledged that there were still challenges to be overcome.

An atmosphere of peace is being created between the two countries

The US Secretary of State said in a press conference in Cairo that the work of the negotiators is going on. He further said that the differences are decreasing, and we are pushing for an agreement in Doha. Getting there is still a difficult task. But I believe it is possible. At the same time, according to media reports, Israel has reportedly agreed to allow 2,000 Gaza citizens to return to the northern Gaza Strip two weeks after the signing of the agreement. This report also mentions Israel’s request for the release of the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul. Well, there has been no official confirmation from Israel about this yet.
