Mukhtar Ansari died:
Gangster, political leader Mukhtar Ansari died in jail. He, an accused in more than 60 cases, was found unconscious in the jail by staff and shifted to Rani Durgavati Medical College in Banda where he died on Thursday night.
However, the latest autopsy report has revealed a key fact after his son and family members alleged that there was a slow poison attack on him. It has been confirmed that Mukhtar Ansari died of a heart attack.
There are serious cases against this former MLA who won 5 times from Mau constituency of Uttar Pradesh. Mukhtar Ansari’s son Umar Ansari has alleged that his father was subjected to slow poisoning in jail. They demanded that a postmortem be conducted at AIIMS in Delhi. They said that they do not trust the local administration and medical system in Banda.
The postmortem report on Friday said that Mukhtar Ansari died due to a heart attack (myocardial infarction). A team of five doctors conducted the autopsy. His younger son Umar Ansari was present when the postmortem was conducted at Rani Durgavati Medical College. After the postmortem, his body was taken from Bandala to his own district, Ghazipur. His funeral was held on Saturday morning. Hundreds of people attended the event.
