Tesla in India
Tesla in India: The arrival of Elon Musk Tesla in India is inevitable! The Tesla team is about to start searching for nuclear sites to set up an electric vehicle manufacturing plant.
In this background… Telangana Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu made many key comments. It has been revealed that they are negotiating with the Elon Musk team for setting up a Tesla plant in Telangana.
Telangana government talks with Elon Musk’s Tesla team.
“Government is taking many steps to attract international giants to invest in Telangana. We have been focusing on this issue since December 2023. As part of this, we are also tracking Tesla’s investments in India. We have been working hard to bring Tesla to Telangana for some time now. Our team is negotiating with Tesla. In any case, we are working hard to bring Tesla to Telangana,” Sridhar Babu tweeted on X (Twitter).
Sridhar Babu said, “Telangana has a friendly policy for industries. We are working towards a progressive and futuristic vision by creating world class infrastructure. There is a permission system for giant companies like Tesla to work in Telangana.”
Tesla Telangana government: Instead of a tweet by BRS leader KTR on the reports that the Tesla team is making efforts to set up an electric car plant, Sridhar Babu revealed the above details.
“I want the government to make all possible efforts to bring Tesla to Telangana. Make the Tesla team come to Hyderabad and see the progressive industrial policies here,” tweeted KTR.
If everything goes as planned… Tesla is planning to invest 2-3 billion dollars in India!
Other states in the race…
Telangana government talks with Tesla: Tesla’s entry into India is indeed a big deal. Wherever Tesla puts a plant to make electric cars, development and job opportunities will improve there. That’s why many states are attracting Tesla. It is reported that the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu are also in this race along with Telangana.
And in these states, there is widespread interest in what Elon Musk’s Tesla team will choose.
There is already a super demand for the EV segment in India. And if Tesla comes to India… this demand is likely to increase further. It is also a positive point that the center is changing its policies accordingly. Moreover… with the entry of Tesla, the competition which is already fierce in this segment… will increase even more.
