US President election 2024: According to the Wall Street Journal’s latest poll regarding the US presidential election, Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden in six of the seven swing states.
A survey released Wednesday showed that Trump has a lead of between 2 and 8 percentage points among voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina.
Swing States Results
The latest survey revealed that Trump is ahead of Biden in 6 of the 7 swing states in the US presidential election. While Biden already has a 3-point lead on the multiple-candidate ballot in Wisconsin, the seventh state, the two rivals are in a head-to-head race, according to Reuters. Despite job growth, healthy spending, and better-than-expected GDP growth, it is notable that voters are opposed to Biden. This is troubling Democratic political strategists.
Opposition to Biden
In this poll, negative views of Biden outnumbered positive views by at least 16 percentage points. Four of America’s swing states have more than 20 points. Only in Arizona, one of the seven swing states, did Trump receive a negative rating. Moreover, the survey results revealed that many voters felt that Trump, who has better mental and physical health, would be better suited for the presidency. In this poll, 28 percent of the votes were in favor of Biden, while Trump got 48 percent of the votes. The survey was conducted on 4,200 votes of 600 in seven states on March 17-24.
