T20 World Cup 2024: Pakistan cricketers are going through tough times ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. It is known that Pakistan Cricket Board has adopted a unique approach for fitness.

They are being trained in army school. The Babar Azam-led team is currently training at the Army School of Physical Training in Kakul to focus on their fitness. The fitness of Pakistan players in ODI World Cup in 2023 is very poor. The Pakistan team was given rigorous training by the Army after receiving complaints from the PCB about their fitness standards.

The Pakistan team is being tested through various traditional exercises in the presence of the army. A video released on social media showing PCB’s players working hard for fitness has gone viral. Here the players are doing a variety of activities from lifting stones to climbing ropes. Fast bowler Hasan Ali said that the players should meet the highest fitness standards for the upcoming T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA… This training is very important for them.

Pakistan will play a 5 T20I series against New Zealand from April 18 on home soil. Pakistan will look to use this series as a practice before the World Cup. The ICC T20 World Cup tournament will be held from June 1 to June 29. West Indies and America are jointly hosting this mega tournament. The host USA will face Canada in the first match of the tournament on June 1. Barbados will host the final on June 29. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan match will be held on June 9 in New York City.
