RR Vs RCB Highlights: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has once again performed poorly in the IPL 2024 season. In the third match in a row, they suffered a disappointing hat-trick of defeats.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) continued their unbeaten run this season by winning all four matches. Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets in the IPL match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur today (April 6). RCB star Virat Kohli’s unbeaten century (113 not out) went to waste. Rajasthan’s opener Jos Buttler (100 not out) shone with an unbeaten century as the team won in a landslide.

 Kohli’s one-man show is a waste

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star batsman Virat Kohli (113 runs off 72 balls; 12 hits, 4 sixes) once again did a one-man show. He hit it with a century. Kohli scored 8th century in IPL. He further increased the record of most centuries in IPL. RCB lost the toss and batted first in this match. Openers Kohli and Faf Duplessis (44 runs off 33 balls) played consistently in the beginning but then they increased the aggression. Especially Kohli played in an aggressive style. With this, RCB crossed 100 runs in 11.2 overs. After that, Faf Duplessis was dismissed in the 14th over. This ended the opening partnership of 125 runs.

Virat Kohli continued his good work. At the other end, Glenn Maxwell (1) and Sourav Chauhan (9) failed, but Virat played aggressively. He fought alone. Virat reached the century mark in 67 balls. However, except for Virat Kohli, none of the other batsmen could play aggressively. In total, Bangalore scored 183 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Among the Rajasthan bowlers, Yajuvendra Chahal took two wickets and Nandre Burger took one wicket.

Rajasthan Royals smashed the target with a bang. Young star opener Yashaswi Jaiswal (0) once again disappointed. Jaiswal was dismissed in the second ball of the first over by RCB pacer Topley bowling. However, after that, Rajasthan opener Jos Buttler and captain Sanju Samson shone. They gradually melted the target by crushing the Bengaluru bowlers.

Jos Buttler stayed till the end and scored an unbeaten 100 off 58 balls to complete his century. He dusted with 9 fours and 4 sixes. He stayed till the end and won the team. He completed the century with a six when one run was needed for victory. Buttler scored a century in his 100th IPL match. Samson scored 69 runs (8 fours, 2 sixes) in just 42 balls. Samson Outaina Butler stayed till the end. Rajasthan won by scoring 189 runs for 4 wickets in 19.1 overs. Among the Bengaluru bowlers, Reece Topley took two wickets, Yash Dayal and Siraj took one wicket each.

RCB made a lot of fielding mistakes. Bengaluru fielders left each catch given by Butler and Samson. It hurt the team. Overall… RCB has seriously disappointed in bowling and fielding.

Buttler who leveled Gayle

Virat Kohli completed his 8th century in IPL in this match. He is the highest scorer in IPL. Jos Buttler reaches sixth century in IPL Jos Buttler has equaled Chris Gayle and reached the second position in the list of most IPL centuries.

Rajasthan at the top

In the IPL 2024 season so far, Rajasthan have won four out of four matches and secured 8 points. Currently it has gone to the top of the points table. Bengaluru dropped to 8th place after losing four out of five matches.
