Question asked to ChatGPT about cooking oil
Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma revealed that he used ChatGPT to gain more information about cooking oil. He told that according to Artificial Intelligence (AI), repeated heating of oil (especially after it smokes) can create dangerous compounds like free radicals and trans fats.
Responding to a post by fitness influencer Chirag Barjatya on X (formerly called Twitter), Sharma wrote that reheating and reusing ghee or cooking oil can actually have a bad effect on its health, including potentially increasing its trans-fat content.
Created and sold a website
Vijay created a website in 1997 while studying in college. He created a website named indiasite.net and sold it for Rs 5 lakh after 2 years. Then in 2000 he started a company named One97 Communications.
This company initially provided mobile content like news, cricket scores, ringtones, jokes and exam results. Then in 2010 Vijay started Paytm. Paytm initially provided prepaid mobile and DTH recharge services.
IPO came in 2021
In 2013, Vijay’s Paytm entered the debit card, postpaid mobile and landline bill payment segment. Then in 2014, Paytm Wallet was launched, which was included by Indian Railways and Uber as a payment option. In November 2021, Paytm’s Rs 18300 crore IPO came, which was India’s largest IPO.
The stock of Paytm’s parent company One 97 Communications is down 1.01 percent at Rs 413.35 on BSE at 2 pm. The market capital of the company at this price is Rs 26,268.01 crore.
