Condoms found in samosas: Pimpri-Chinchwad police have registered a case against five people after condoms, gutka and stones were found in samosas supplied to a leading automobile company in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra.

The accused have been identified as Rahim Sheikh, Azhar Sheikh, Mazar Sheikh, Feroze Sheikh alias Mantu and Vicky Sheikh of SRS Enterprises. The police said that a case has been registered against two workers of a sub-contracted company who were asked to supply samosas and three partners of another company whose contract was canceled earlier for adulteration of snacks.

What happened?

Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt Ltd is responsible for providing snacks to the canteen of the automobile company. However, Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt Ltd had sub-contracted the responsibility of manufacturing these snacks to SRS Enterprises earlier. But they stopped the contract as they were not providing quality snacks and recently gave the subcontract to another subcontract company called Manohar Enterprise. With that, the management of SRS Enterprises decided to trouble Catalyst Service Solutions anyway.

She sent two people working in her company to Manohar Enterprise to make samosas. The samosas sent to Catalyst Service Solutions are advised to be filled with garbage. So, they filled those samosas with condoms, stones and gutka packets and sent them to the canteen of the automobile company. These details were revealed when the police interrogated the accused.

Registration of case

Police found that two employees named Feroze Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh filled the samosas with condoms, gutka and stones. The police have registered a case against the management of SRS Enterprises along with those two employees. Police said that a case has been registered against them under Section 328 and Section 120B of the IPC. Initially, the management of SRS Enterprises was released from the contract after first aid bandages were found in the samosas sent to the automobile firm.
