Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi Release Date: Ten years ago, Anjali’s horror comedy ‘Gitanjali’ in a dual role was a great success.
Now they have come up with the movie ‘Gitanjali again’ as a sequel to this movie. Today on April 11, this movie was released in theatres. Srinivasa Reddy, Shakalaka Shankar, Satyam Rajesh who acted in Part 1. Some of the remaining characters have continued in this sequel as well. Along with them, Ali, Satya, Rahul Mahadev, Sunil, Ravi Shankar… played important roles. This film is Anjali’s 50th film.
As for the story…
At the end of part 1 Geetanjali (Anjali) comes as a demon and kills Ramesh (Ramesh Rao) who killed her. In this sequel, the story starts from Gitanjali Dayyam. Geetanjali kills a man who misbehaves with a girl in an office. With this, some people call the Aghora’s and bind the soul of Gitanjali in a doll and bury it at the end of the village. A girl selling toys on the road found the toy as the plots came up there. Venkatarao (Ali) buys that doll and goes to Ooty.
And Srinu (Srinivas Reddy), who made a hit in Part 1, is again experiencing difficulties in the film as he made three flops. He cheats his friend Ayan (Satya) in Vizag and takes money saying he will make him a hero. This fraud will come to light when Ayan comes to Hyderabad. At the same time, Srinu gets a call from the manager of a rich man Vishnu (Rahul Madhav) in Ooty asking him to come to Ooty to shoot a film, so everyone goes to Ooty. In Part 1 Geetanjali’s sister Anjali (Anjali dual role) runs a coffee shop right here in Ooty. Vishnu gives them a chance for a movie and sets the conditions that they should shoot in the Bhoot Bungalow Sangeet Mahal and cast Anjaline as the heroine. There are three ghosts in that Sangeet Mahal. Shastri (Ravi Shankar), his wife (Priya) and his daughter. When it was a resort, the ghosts were killing the couples who came there, and it turned into a booth bungalow.
What is the real story of Sangeet Mahal? Why did those three become ghosts? Why are those demons killing those who love them? Why did Vishnu give a film chance to Srinu who was in flops? Why did he set the condition that Anjaline should be cast as the heroine and the shoot should be done in Booth’s bungalow? Did they make a movie in the midst of those ghosts? Movie analysis…
When it comes to horror comedy, horror and comedy should be set perfectly. In Part 1 it was successful as it was correct. Even now, we want to balance the two elements well, but the comedy is more, and the horror is less. The entire first half of Srinu and his batch of movie troubles, getting a movie chance, knowing that there are ghosts, and showing the story of those ghosts gave a good twist to the interval. In the second half, they laughed hilariously saying that they are shooting a movie with ghosts in that booth bungalow. The climax is also a bit interesting but some scenes in the climax feel too silly. The graphics in the climax also lighten up a bit. For the first part, this movie has given a good connection. It can be said that it is a perfect sequel. Even if Geetanjali Part 3 is not announced, the climax makes sense that there will be a Part 3 too.
Performance of the actors…
Telugu actress Anjali has already impressed with 49 movies and now Geetanjali is back in her 50th movie. As Anjali, Geetanjali once again impresses in both roles as Atma. Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Sunil, Srikanth Iyengar, Jabardast Avinash, Pavitra… all of them are full of laughter with their comedy. Ravi Shankar and Priya played the roles of ghosts. Rahul Madhav as the villain seemed okay. Dil Raju, who gave a guest appearance in Part 1, also gave a guest appearance in this movie. Along with Dil Raju, BVS Ravi and Suresh Kondeti also made guest appearances in this movie.
Technical aspects… Cinematography Visuals are good. Most of the movie takes place in Ooty. The natural beauty of the place is amazing. The background music is also loud. Dialogues are full of laughs. The narration of the story also goes on without getting bored anywhere. But apart from Raj Kiran who directed the first part, the new director of this movie Siva Turlapati impressed with the first movie. The graphics work is also good. In terms of production, this film has also been well spent.
As a whole, ‘Gitanjali again came as a sequel to the movie ‘Gitanjali’ will definitely please the audience as a perfect horror comedy. This movie can be rated 3.
