This is the first time since the release of the movie that the collection of at least Rs. The total net collections of the Telugu version is Rs.16.83 crores, while the Tamil version has collected only Rs.1.42 crores in seven days. Gross collections in India are Rs.21.15 crores and overseas are Rs.9.5 crores. The first day started with Rs. 5.55 crores, but by the seventh day, it could not receive even a crore.
Liger First Day Collections
Another disaster in Vijay Devarakonda’s career, Liger movie collected more than Rs.33 crore worldwide on its first day. Good openings have come in the background of huge expectations on the film. But that movie also had negative talk from the first day and the collection gradually decreased from the second day.
The movie, which was made with a huge budget of Rs.200 crores, left huge losses. Even if we look at that calculation. Even the first day collections of Liger could not be received by the week collections of Family Star. This movie was also made with a budget of Rs.60 crores. This will leave another Vijay film with losses. This is sure to have a severe negative impact on his career.
With successive failures of Liger, Khushi and now Family Star, Vijay’s situation has become worse. Although the entire film unit including producer Dil Raju said that Family Star was working hard and giving negative reviews, it seems from the collections that even the general audience did not like this movie. Even though there was no stiff competition at the box office, despite the consecutive holidays, the film failed to cash in.
