Another opener Sunil Narine (6) and Ang Krish Raghuvanshi (7) were dismissed for a low score, but captain Shreyas Iyer played responsibly. He scored 38 runs in 38 balls and remained unbeaten and led the team to victory along with Salt.
With this win, Kolkata moved up to the 2nd position in the points table. Lucknow dropped to 5th position.
