Zomato Large Order Fleet: Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal introduced ” large Order Fleet” with the aim of better handling large orders for parties, meetings and events.
An “All Electric Fleet” has also been designed for this purpose. With this large order fleet, food can be supplied to at least 50 people. “today, we are excited to introduce India’s first large order fleet. It will deliver all your big ( group/ part/ event ) orders with ease.” he wrote on x( formerly Twitter), along with a photo of an EV ( electric vehicle ) designed for deliveries. Also shared.

This large order fleet was launched with the aim of delivering food in small parties, meetings and events. At least 50 people can be supplied with meals at one time through this fleet. Earlier, Zomato used to supply food for large orders through multiple delivery agents. Apart from this, a large order fleet has been started to serve all the food ordered in one single delivery. However, it may take some time for this new feature to become fully available. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal said that Zomato is working on adding more features like cooling compartments and hot boxes with temperature control to keep food fresh in electric vehicles used for delivery.

Pure Veg Fleet
Deepinder Goyal introduced the ‘Pure Veg Fleet’ last month to deliver orders only from vegetarian restaurants. However, there has been a lot special green uniforms and green boxes for this purpose. With that, within 24 hours, Zomato withdrew plans for special green uniforms or green boxes.
