This time there is a war on water supply in Delhi. Lt Governor VK Saxena has written an open letter to Tihar jailed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on water supply in the capital. They want their government to be responsible for this problem.

The Lt Governor has written an open letter accusing Water Minister Atishi of using the death of a woman in a fight for water for’ narrow political ends. The lieutenant governor accused the government of creating an illusion of free water and the woman’s death exposed its failure. The Lieutenant Governor said that Atishi had been blaming his own government for over nine years and pointed out that lack of water supply was the reason behind the incident.

The Lt. Governor said his (Atishi’s) letter was actually a base admission of (the government’s) inaction, inefficiency in the last 10 years. Many incidents have happened in the past due to the failure of the government. He wrote in the letter that instead of soling the water problem, you and ministers have created a fantasy of free water.
In the letter, the Lt Governor state that such an unfortunate incident is not the only one in Delhi. there have been many such incidents related to water shortage in the past and the main reason for this is the government’s failure.
