India has made big statement regarding Israel and Palestine, which is being seen as a setback for Israel. Actually, India supported the two-state solution for Israel and Palestine in the United Nations.
India’s Permanent Representative to the Un Ruchira Kamboj said in a meeting that India is committed to supporting a two-state solution where the Palestinian people will be able to live in an independent country within safe borders. She talked about reconsidering Palestine’s application to the United Nations. India’s move is being seen as a setback for Israel, while Israel’s Prime Minister sees the Palestinian state as a threat. Let us tell you that Palestine had recently applied for UN membership, which could not be passed due to America’s veto. Kamboj said that we hope that it will be reconsidered at the appropriate time and Palestine’s efforts to become a member of the United Nations will get support.

India also slammed Hamas.
During the meeting, India’s permanent Representative Ruchira Kamboj also condemned Hamas. Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023. He said that terrorism cannot be justified. India has always been against terrorism. We also demand unconditional release of all hostages. Kamboj asked to follow international laws and humanitarian laws in Gaza.

During the talks, Kamboj also asked to increase aid for the people in Gaza. He said, it is necessary to help the people to improve the situation. Humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza needs to be increased immediately. He urged everyone to come together.
