Kedarnath Dham is one of the four Dham’s of Uttarakhand. This Dham of Lord Shiva is very popular. This temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingos. This year the doors of Kedarnath temple are opening on 10th May.
There are only seven days left for the door to open and the administration has made complete preparations for the Chardham Yatra. This year till now the largest number of devotees have registered for darshan of Kedarnath Dham. More than 6 lakh devotes have registered for Darshan in this Dham. Devotees can visit Kedarnath Dham on foot or can go to this temple of Lord Shiva by horse or Palanquin. The climb to this temple is very difficult, due to which devotees take the help of horse or palanquin. Apart from this, devotees can go to Kedarnath Dham and have Dharshan by booking a helicopter in advance. How to book helicopter for Kedarnath Yatra.
Before booking helicopter, you have to go to registrationtouriscare.uk.gov.in and register for the trip. After this, you can book tickets for Heli service. Ticket booking facility has started from 20th April. You can book helicopter service from 10th May to 20th June. Earlier slots are full. Also, devotees can book helicopter for Kedarnath from 15th September to 31st October. Devotees can book tickets through IRCTC Heli Yatra website www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in. After visiting here, devotees have to give their information, in which they have to fill their name, Mobil number, email ID, state name, create password and create account. After this, log in and fill other information. Now choose the date of travel and slot time. Finally, OTP will come and after this you have to make online payment. Finally, devotees have to download their ticket.
