Government officials themselves have confirmed the news. Kami Rita is now the only person in the world who has climbed the world’s highest peak 29 times.
Kami, a senior mountaineering guide at seven Summit Treks Pvt Ltd, first climbed Mount Everest in May 1994. According to Gura gain, between 1994 and 2024, Kami Rita has climbed Mount Lhotse once each, Mount .Manaslu four times and Mount Cho Oyu eight times.
