Kolkata is enjoying the IPL 17 season. Kolkata scored a super victory by 18 runs in a thrilling match against Mumbai Indians.

As a result, KKR became the first team to qualify for the playoffs with 18 points.

The 20 over match was reduced to 16 overs by Costa due to early rain. Batting first in the match which started late, Kolkata scored 157 runs and set a target of 158 runs for the opposition team Mumbai. Mumbai failed to achieve this goal. In the scheduled 16 overs, the Mumbai team was bowled out for 139 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Mumbai opener Ishan Kishan (40) excelled with runs, but in 6.5 overs, Sunil Narine’s delivery was caught by Rinku Singh, who was about to play a shot. Eligibility for play offs: In the points table, Kolkata Knight Riders have won 9 and lost 3 out of 12 matches played and qualified for the playoffs by standing at the top with a total of 18 points. Royal Challengers Bangalore are on the 7th position with a total of 10 points after winning 5 and losing out of 12 matches played.
