How is the film ‘Madgaon Express’?
The story of the film begins with the beautiful backdrop of Goa. The film takes us on a fun-filled journey of Dodo (Divyendu), Pinku (Prateik), and Ayush (Avinash). There is a lot of friendship in this journey but then something happens to them which you cannot imagine.
Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye and Chhaya have also played strong roles in the film. The garnered a lot of praise for its ticking comedy, brilliant writing and the performance of the lead actors and collected Rs 44.5 crore worldwide.
What did Kunal Khemu say about his direction?
Taking about his directorial debut, Kunal Khemu told PTI, “I did not even know that this would become a film. This (writing) was like a practice session for me to see if I could do it. It was a lonely process that I went through, and nobody knew I was writing it. In fact. I thought that if it ever got made, maybe I would play one of the boys, that’s the intention with which I wrote it.
He further added, “Comedy is something that is easily palatable and it is one of the most watched genres in the world. As an actor, love comedy very much. Also, it was easy to sell that he is good at comedy, let’s at least read what he has written in comedy. I am lucky that I got the opportunity.”
