A fire broke out after a series of explosions at a private chemical factory located in the MIDC complex in Dombivli, Thane on Thursday. 4 people have lost they’re in the accident.

More than two dozen people have been injured in the accident. Maharashtra DCM Devendra Fadnavis has expressed grift over the incident and tweeted, “The boiler explosion incident at Amudan Chemical Company in Dombivli MIDC is said.

Further DCM Devendra Fadnavis wrote that 8 people have been suspended. Arrangements have been made ambulances have been kept ready. “I have discussed with the collector, and he is also reaching the spot within 10 minutes, NDRF, TDRF, fire brigade teams have been called.

After the accident, an eyewitness said, “The explosions were so strong that the nearby houses shook, and the glass of some houses broke. Frightened locals came out of their houses. Within minutes, a huge fire broke out in the factory. On receiving the information, half a dozen fire tenders, water tankers and rescue teams reached the spot. A local person said that at least five people have been reported injured in the explosion and fire incident in the factory. However, the number of injured has not been officially confirmed.
