Diarrhea outbreaks inn Vijayawada. Expanding to different areas day by day. Eight people died at once.

Most of the dead were women. Out of the eight, five are women and three are men. Also, tens of cases are being registered inn hospitals. Doctors say that the cause of this diseases is the use of contaminated water.

This case of diarrhea first came to light in Mughalarajapuram. After that the spread of the disease spread to Payakapuram area and some other areas. Therefore, tens of victims are receiving treatment in government and private hospitals. With the outbreak of this disease, the death toll is increasing day by day.

The death toll has reached eight in the last 15 days. More deaths are likely. Most of the dead were women. Out of the eight, five are women and three are men. Chaudhary Kanakamma (60) of Payakapuram Radhanagar, Ramavarapu Sanyasamma (80), Vinaru Sidhartha (year-old) of Yadkapalli, Mettu Anjamma (70), Shikha Indira (36), Kakarlamudi Indira (55) and Idupula Kalyan926) of Mugalrajapuram Gummadu Vari Street.), Valluri Durgarao 946) died of diarrhea.

More than 50 people from these two areas of Payakapuram and Mugalrajapuram are receiving treatment in Vivid private Hospitals. Water problem in Vijayawada city is not of today. People have been suffering from water problem here since time immemorial. The victims say that despite their pleas, the governments have ignored them. But this disease flourishes due to contaminated water. Due to this, the cases of diarrhea increasing massively.

Due to the negligence of officials and rulers, common people are getting sick due to drinking contaminated water. Most of the victims of this disease are the poor. It is worse that even children under one year of ago are among the victims of this disease. Even though the contaminated water is meeting the good water supply pipelines, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) officials do not care. Also, minimal medical services are not provided in diarrhea affected areas. Due to this, the residents of the city are facing serious problems.

As the deaths of diarrheal diseases are increasing day by day, the authorities have become complacent. Officials who woke up late are caring out house-to-house surveys in diarrhea-affected areas and collecting blood samples. However, the health department has not revealed the results of the blood samples. People are waiting for the results of the samples.
