UP Lok Sabha Election Results 2024
The result of Nagina Lok Sabha seat of Utter Pradesh has been declared, Bhim Army chief and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) candidate Chandrashekhar Azad has won this seat.
Chandrashekhar Azad was pitted against BJP’s Om Kumar, SP’s Manoj Kumar and BSP’s Surendra Pal Singh on this seat. Chandrashekhar has won this seat by defeating the candidates of SP, BSP and BJP.
Chandrashekhar Azad got a total of 512552 votes on Nagina seat, and he won this seat by 151473 votes. Bhartiya Janata Party candidate Om Kumar got 361079 votes. While Samajwadi Party candidate Manoj Kumar got 102374 votes and BSP’s Surendra Pal Singh got 13272 votes.
What did Chandrashekhar Azad say?
Chandrashekhar Azad surprised everyone by winning Nagina seat by more than 1lakh votes. While talking to the media, he said that I thank the great people of Nagina who blessed me, and I pay attention to all those who criticized. I also want to thank all those who went against me and campaigned for another party. I would also like to thank those colleagues who came from all over all over the country and worked for me.
Many colleagues did not even go home on Eid. He also said that if the leaders of India Alliance had shown wisdom, better decisions would have been taken. I would like to give credit for my victory to the workers of the people of Nagina, Bhim Army and my colleagues from all over the country, and also to the mothers and sister of Nagina.
In 2024, BJP won this seat while in 2019, SP-BSP alliance candidate Girish Chandra won Earlier there was speculation about Chandrashekhar Azad that he might join the India alliance. But after not joining the alliance, he decided to contest the elections alone.
