India vs USA Match Highlights

1.Change in opening
On the lines of IPL, Virat Kohli is being made tp open in the T20 World Cup as well. But he has not been successful so far. This is affecting the team. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is including inn the squad in place of Kohli, can also be made to open with Rohit Sharma. While Kohli can take charge at number-3 as before.
2.Kohli’s poor form
Kohli’s form in opening is continuously looking bad. Kohli has opened in 3 matches so far in the World Cup, in which he has been able to score only 5 runs. He has also been out on zero once (in the current match). Kohli had scored only 4 runs against Pakistan. In such a situation, Kohli’s poor form has also increased the tension of the team.
3. Putting Pant at number-3 is a useless experiment
Apart from all this, the team management has also done a new and useless experiment. They have put wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant at number 3. Pant has definitely scored runs at this number, but he has not shown the confidence that is seen at number-5 or 6.
Pant had scored a fifty in the practice match. After this, he scored an unbeaten 36 against Ireland and 42 against Pakistan. While he scored 18 runs against America. But the management should put Kohli at number-3 and bring Pant in the middle order. This will also strengthen the middle order.
4. Weakening of the middle order
The middle order has weakened due to the experiments done by Indian team. Its effect was seen in the match against Pakistan. In this match, the Indian team lost the third wicket at 58 and the fourth wicket at 89 runs. After this, the entire team was reduced to 119 runs.
No batsman in the middle order could handle the team. In this match, Akshar Patel was sent at number 4. But Suryakumar was fielded against America. If Kohli comes at nimber-3 and Pant at number-5, then the middle order at number-4. While Hardik Pandya and then Ravindra Jadeja-Axar Patel can come at number-6.
