An earthquake of 3.0 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Kullu in Himachal Pradesh on Friday at 3.39 pm. This information was given by the National Seismological Center. There is no report of any loss of life or property due to this earthquake. However, after the earthquake, people definitely panicked and came out of their houses.

Earlier in the month of April this year, earthquake tremors were felt in Chamba. Then its intensity was measured 5.3 on the Richter scale. The National Center for seismology had said that earthquake tremors were felt on April 4 at 9:34 pm and 32 seconds. The depth of the earthquake was measured 10 kilometers.

There was no loss of life or property

The tremors of the earthquake were also felt in the areas adjoining Chamba. In such a situation, a stampede situation arose among the people. During that time also, there was no information of loss of life or property.

It is worth nothing that India has been divided into five zones in terms of earthquake. The areas of seismic zone-5 are most at risk from earthquake. Most of the area of Himachal Pradesh falls in seismic zone 4 and 5 in terms of earthquake.
