T20 World Cup 2024: David Wiese may have played the last match of his international career. The 34th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 was played between England and Namibia.
In this match, veteran all-rounder David VJ played his last match for Namibia. VJ scored 27 runs in 12 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes in the match against England and took a wicket in bowling. VJ, who comes from South Africa, first played international cricket for his country and then he started playing for Namibia.
VJ has not yet officially announced his retirement, but the way he returned to the pavilion after getting out in the match against England, it seemed that he has played the last match of his international career. After VJ was out, the commentator also said that this is probably the last time he played for Namibia. After getting out, many England players shook hands with him on the field and hugged him and patted his back.

Apart from this, he scored 624 runs in 40 T20 International innings at a strike rate of 127.86. During this, he scored 3 half-centuries. Apart from this, he took 59 wickets while bowling in 54 innings.
