PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
PM Kisan Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give great news to crores of farmers of the country on 18 June 2024, yes, on this day the 17th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana) will come in the account of the food providers.
PM Modi will transfer Rs 2,000 each as installment to the accounts of more than 9 crore farmer from Varanasi in UP through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). During this, PM Modi will also provide certificates to more than 30,000 members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) who have been trained as Krishi Sakhis so that they can work as para-extension workers and help fellow farmers in farming. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave this information.
What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is an important scheme of the Government of India. Under this scheme, farmers across the country are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year by Government as minimum income support. However, this amount is not given to the farmers in Lump sum. Two thousand rupees are given once every three months.
In this way, farmers are given Rs 6,000 in three installments every year. This amount is sent directly to the farmers’ account. This scheme was started by Piyush Goyal on 1 February 2019. It was announced in the interim budget of 2019. So far 16 installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have been released. The last installment was released on 28th February 2024.
Do KYC before 18 June
The central government has made e-KYC Process mandatory to avail the benefits of PM Kisan Scheme. If the farmers want to take advantage of this scheme, then they must get KYC (Know Your Customer) done before 18 June 2024. If you have not got KYC done, then first download PM KISAN MOBILE APP in your phone. After downloading the mobile app, you can get e-KYC done through Face Authentication from home. If you are unable to do e-KYC through the app yourself, then you can go to CSC (Kisan service Centre) and get e-KYC done through biometric authentication.
How to do KYC through OTP
To do KYC, you can go to the official website pmkisan.gov.in and get e-KYC done through OTP.
Do e-KYC with PM Kisan App
- For e-KYC from home, first go to the play store of your phone and download the PM Kisan App.
- After installing the app, login by entering your phone number.
- After this, an OTP will come on your number.
- As soon as your enter that OTP, you will see many options.
- There you will have to complete your e-KYC.
- After this your e-KYC process will be completed.

What to do if the installment amount is not credited to your account
If you are a farmer and you are facing problem in registration of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana or any other problem, then you can solve the problem by visiting the Help Desk in Farmer Corner on the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana pmkisan-ict@gov.in. By clicking on Help Desk, enter your Aadhaar number bank account number or mobile number.
On clicking Get Details, the query form will appear. Here, options related to account number, payment, Aadhaar and other problems are given in the drop down. Choose it according to your problem and also write its details below. Then submit it. Apart from this, you can also call on helpline numbers 0120-6025109, 011-24300606. - Go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana pmkisan.gov.in.
- After this click on ‘Know Your Status’.
- Then fill in the registration number.
- After this enter the captcha shown on the screen.
- Fill in all information and click on Get Details.
- Now the status will be shown on the screen.
How to apply
- To apply for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, first of all you have to log on to the official website of the scheme hhtps://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Here chooses the option of New Farmer Registration.
- A new page will open. Fill in all the required details asked here.
- After doing this, fill the image code and click on the OTP button.
- After this come to the registered mobile number and enter the OTP.
- In the next step, the OTP that will come from Aadhaar to the registered mobile number will also have to be entered.
- After doing this, a new page will open on the screen.
- Here you fill in the required details asked and upload the soft copy of the documents.
- your application will be completed.
Who will get the benefits of the scheme and who will not
- If you have completed the land verification work, then you will get the benefits of the 16th installment, if you have not done this, then you will not get the amount.
- If you have not linked your, Aadhaar card to the bank, then you will not get the installment amount. If you have done this, then the amount will come.
- To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary to do e-KYC. If you have not done this, then the amount of the 17th installment may get stuck.
- If there is any mistake in your application form, even if the bank account information is not given correctly, then the amount will not come to your account.
- If you have not made any mistake or have got it corrected, then the amount of the scheme will come to your account.
- Only farmers get the benefits of this scheme. If you are a professional person, for example, a doctor, engineer, etc….Then you will not get its benefits.
- If a senior citizen gets a pension of more than Rs 10,000 or is a retired employee from a government job, then he cannot take advantage of this scheme.
- If a farmer or any member of his family pays tax to the government, then he will also not be covered in this. This means that if any of the husband or wife has paid tax, then they cannot take advantage of this scheme.
