Darjeeling Train Accident Today
A fatal train accident took place in Darjeeling. West Bengal. A goods train collided with the Kanchanjunga Express train. this is really a shocking incident. The accident was too big. The bogey’s rose into the air. On Monday morning, a goods train collided with an express in Phansidewa area of Darjeeling.
Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee reacted to this incident on Twitter, “Just now, I am shocked to learn about the ghastly train accident in Phansidewa area of Darjeeling district. While the details are yet to be known, Kanchanjunga Express has been hit by a good train. DM, SP, doctors, ambulances, disaster teams have started was-like operations for rescue, recovery and medical assistance,” she said.
according to the latest information, a goods train came from behind and hit Kanchanjunga Express which was stopped. Three bogies were severely damaged. It is not yet known how many people died in this accident. It is said that the death toll may be higher.
