Who can apply for this post?
Northeastern Railways has released vacancies for 1,104 posts of Apprentice. To apply in this, it is necessary to pass the 10th examination with at least 50 percent marks from the recognized school education board. Along with this, the certificate of ITI should be obtained in the respective trade.

Interested candidates can apply for Northeastern Railways Apprentice Recruitment 2024 through the official website of railways ner.indianrailways.gov.in Northeastern Railway Apprentice Application Form will be filled till 11th July 2024.
Recruitment will be done on these posts
Recruitment will be done on 411 posts in Mechanical Workshop Gorakhpur Recruitment will be done on 63 posts in Signal Workshop Gorakhpur Cantt. Apart from this, recruitment will be done on 35 posts in Bridge Workshop Gorakhpur Cantt and 151 posts in Mechanical Workshop Izzatnagar, 60 posts in Diesel Shed Izzatnagar.
Applications are being accepted for 64 posts in Carriage & Wargon Izzatnagar and 155 posts in Carriage & Wargon Lucknow Junction. Apart from these posts, candidates will be selected for 23 posts, candidates will be selected for 23 posts in Diesel Shed Gonda and 75 posts in Carriage & Wargon Varanasi.
This is how the candidates will be selected
The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit, which will be compiled by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both 10th (with at least 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination and each will be given equal importance.
How to apply
First of all, let us tell you that the applications have to pay Rs 100 as processing fee. SC/ST/EWS/Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) Women candidates will be exempted from payment of processing fee.
- To apply, you must first visit the official website of Railways.
- Go to the option of “ACT Apprentice Training Notification” on the on the homepage. After this, click on the “ACT Apprentice Notification 2024-2025” link to access the application details. Now click on the “Apply” button to start your application process.
- Enter all the required personal and educational information in the form.
- Upload the required documents including educational certificates and identity proof.
- Complete the payment of Rs 100 (If applicable) and submit your application from online.
This fee should be paid online through the official website of NE Railway by 05:00PM on 11th July 2024, the last date for fee submission.
