PT sir struggle…
Kanagavel (Hip Hop Tamil) works as a PT teacher at GP School in Erode. He believes that games are important for children along with education. A priest says that there is a mistake in Kanagavel’s horoscope. He says that only if Kanagavel gets married, that dosha will go away. Because of that, Kanagavel’s mother raises him as a coward. It tells us not to see any injustice before our eyes.
Kanagavel loves a woman (Kashmira Pardesi) who works as a teacher in his school. Her father Adv. Manickavel (Prabhu) does not like Vaanathi’s marriage to Kanagavel. Unable to deny his daughter’s words, he agrees to the marriage. Kanagavel and Vanathi make arrangements for the engagement. On the same day, Kanagavel murders Nandini (Anaika Surendran), who lives next door.
Kanagavel suspects that their school owner GP (Thyagarajan) has something to do with the murder. He thinks that GP converted Nandini’s murder into suicide with his money and power and prepares to fight against him. What happened after that?

PT Sir…The audience got fixated that this is a sports drama movie after seeing the title. The film unit also promoted that it is a sports movie. But it is a promotional strategy that will be clear to the audience only after watching the movie.
Social Message…
Director Karthik Venugopalan has made the movie PTI Sir by combining commercial elements with social message. The story of this movie is about how a PT teacher fought against the atrocities and injustices happening to women in the society.
What kind of restrictions are imposed by parents in the name of extreme caution in raising girls…. The movie thoughtfully shows how girls are discriminated against in the society regarding their dreams and desires.
Through the movie, the message of how some big men do stupid things by obstructing the needs and weaknesses of women is given. Petty sir movie is made with the point that girls should not remain silent while tolerating the atrocities being done to them but should fight against them.
Murder Mystery…
The director presented this social message on screen in a thrilling way through Murder Mystery. The first half of the movie revolves around Kanagavel’s life and his love affair with Vanathi. The director passed the time with songs and comedy. It is only after Nandini is killed that the movie seems to get back on track.
Kanagavel’s suspicion that GP is behind Nandini’s murder, Kanagavel’s plans to defeat GP, who is stronger than him in terms of money and power, are impressive. But in the crucial core episodes, it seems that the director did not write the scenes properly… The twist in the climax is expected but still surprising.
Same minus…
The first half has become a minus for the movie. There is a feeling that the story is spinning without moving forward. The steps taken by the hero to expose the villain’s misdeeds are plain.
In a serious role…
The hip hop Tamil acting in an emotional role as a petite sir named Kanagavel seems to be fine. He struggled to do justice to a serious role. The role of heroine Kashmira Pardesi does not have much importance. She does not appear on screen even once in the second half. Seniors like Thyagarajan as the villain, Prabhu as the criminal lawyer and K Bhagyaraj as the judge is a plus for this movie. Anaika Surender’s performance in the key role is good.
Feelgood movie…
PT Sir is a commercial movie with a good message. Telugu dubbing is also done well. Gives a feeling of watching a feelgood movie.
