Shreyasi Singh, MLA from Jamui, Bihar, will aim at the Paris Olympics. She has been selected for the Shotgun Trap Women competition for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Jamui MLA Shreyasi Singh has been selected for the Shotgun Trap Women’s competition in the Olympic Games held in Paris. As such, the Jamui MLA will now aim for a medal in the Olympic Games. Shreyasi Singh has become the first athlete from Bihar to be selected for the Olympics.

There is an atmosphere of joy in the entire district after Jamui MLA Shreyasi Singh was selected for the Paris Olympics. Shreyasi Singh won the silver medal in the double trap event of shooting in the 2014 Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow. In the same year, she won the bronze medal with Shagun Chaudhary and Varsha Varman in the double trap team event in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon.

In 2018, Shreyasi Singh won the gold medal in the women’s double trap shooting event at the Australia Commonwealth Games. This year, Shreyasi Singh was awarded the Arjuna Award by the President. Shreyasi Singh joined the BJP in 2020. The party fielded her from the Jamui seat, and she won.

MLA Shreyasi Singh was born on 29 August 1991 in New Delhi. Her father late Digvijay Singh was an MP and minister in the central government, her mother Putul Singh was also an MP. Shreyasi Singh has done graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi and MBA from Manav Rachna University, Faridabad.
