Civil Assistant Surgeon posts
Hyderabad: Government is going to fill the posts of Civil Assistant Surgeon with MBBS qualification. To this extent, Telangana Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board has issued a notification on Friday.
Total posts are 435 out of which 351 are Medical Officer posts in Primary Health Centers (PHC). Another 80 posts are RMO posts in hospitals under DME. There are four posts to be filled in IPM. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for these posts. Application can be done on Board website (https://mhsrb.telangana.gov.in). The online application process will start on the second of next month.
The last date for submission of applications is 11th of the same month till 5 pm. Only applications submitted online will be accepted…
That means the total marks obtained in all years in MBBS will be changed to 80 percent. For candidates who have done MBBS abroad, the percentage of marks obtained in Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) will be converted to 80 percent. A maximum of 20 points will be given to those working in State Government Hospitals/Institutions on contract/outsourcing basis.
Those who have worked in tribal areas will be given 2.5 points per 6 months and those who have worked in other areas will be given 2 points per 6 months. The experience certificate of working there should be taken by the concerned officer. After getting the experience certificate candidate should apply online for these posts.

» Aadhaar Card, 10th Class Certificate (for proof of date of birth), MBBS Comprehensive Marks Memo, Certificate, Telangana Medical Council Registration Certificate, Experience Certificates, Study Certificates indicating locality (Class 1 to 7), SC, ST, BC Community Certificate, Non in case of BC – Creamy layer certificate, EWS reservation applicants should upload latest income, asset certificate, sports category candidates should upload sports certificate, disabled persons should upload Sadaram certificate, ex-servicemen should upload service certificate for age relaxation, service certificate for NCC instructor.
» Applicants must have passed MBBS or equivalent qualification as on date of notification. At the time of verification of certificates, any applicant having qualifications other than the required qualification (equivalent to the qualification) will be recommended to the ‘Committee of Experts’. The Board will decide as per the report of the Expert Committee.
» Candidates belonging to states other than Telangana are not eligible for any reservation.
» The posts are classified as multi-zonal.
