Manchu Lakshmi
Telugu actress Manchu Lakshmi made her debut in Hollywood. Earlier she acted in three English films. After that he came to India and did more Telugu and Tamil films. Manchu Lakshmi recently said what are the differences between Hollywood and Indian film industry in terms of movie shooting sets. Also, he said that there is more star encouragement in India.
Why so many?
Manchu Lakshmi said that there are many people on the shooting sets of a film in India. He said that in Hollywood, actors steal their own chairs. He said that there are many personal assistants in India. “I wonder who needs so many people. Each actor brings four to five people who do nothing on the sets. The hair person also has an assistant. What’s going on?” said Manchu Lakshmi. She told Indian Express that each actor has a make-up artist, hair stylist and spot boys. He said that there are limited people in Hollywood shooting sets.
There was no caravan then
Manchu Lakshmi remembers that there were no carry vans when her father, Manchu Mohan Babu, came to the industry. Manchu Lakshmi said, “We didn’t have a caravan then. We used to look for bushes. Now we have a beautiful caravan anywhere. However, there are many similarities between Hollywood and India regarding the passion and love for cinema. In Hollywood, caring depends on the artist,” said Manchu Lakshmi.
He said that senior actors are respected in the south, but not so in Hollywood. “I come from a family of actors. I used to spend more time on Indian sets than American ones. When a big actor came, if I stood up, everyone would laugh (in Hollywood). Here in the South, if a senior actor comes on set… we would stand up and applaud them. If I ever do that in America… again. If I do this, they will say that they will not come to my room,” revealed Manchu Lakshmi.
Manchu Lakshmi Career
Manchu Lakshmi made her debut in 2008 with the Hollywood film The Ode. After that he appeared in two more Hollywood films. In 2010, she entered Tollywood with the film Jhummandi Naadam. He played a negative role in a Dheerudu movie. After that he acted in consecutive films. Manchu Lakshmi, who came into the industry as Mohan Babu’s daughter, got her own identity after some time. Manchu Lakshmi mostly played supporting roles. He also acted in some films in Tamil. He also entered the Malayalam industry in 2022 with the film Monster. Manchu Lakshmi played a key role in the Yakshini web series which started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar OTT in June.
