There was a stampede among the devotees who had come to attend Bhole Baba’s Satsang in Hathras (Uttar Pradesh), in which more than 100 people died. CMO Dr. Umesh Kumar Tripathi has confirmed the death toll.
All the dead bodies have been sent to Etah Medical College. It is being told that the condition of the devotees deteriorated due to the extreme heat in the Satsang. Many people who came to participate in the Satsang have told their story. Screams and cries are heard everywhere in the hospital.
A woman who came to the Satsang from Faridabad talked about the incident that as soon as the Satsang ended, there was a stampede. People started falling on each other one after the other. We came here by bus in the number of 80-90. There was a huge crowd in the program. Pointing towards a person, she said that his daughter is dead. Another woman was crying and searching for her daughter-in-law. People are searching for their relatives everywhere.
A girl named Jyoti who came to participate in the Satsang also told in detail about the situation there. He said, “We had come to attend the Satsang with many people. There were a lot of people there. Everything was fine in the beginning, but after the Satsang was over, everyone started climbing over each other. We did not know how all this happened. We were not able to find a way to get out. Many people had participated in the Satsang, out of which many have died.”

Apart from this, people who participated in the Satsang have also expressed anger over the chaos in the hospital. People say that there is a pile of dead bodies in the hospital premises, but not a single doctor is ready to treat anyone. There is only one doctor in the hospital. Expressing their anger, people said that all this happened due to the negligence of the police administration. There was a jam on the road since last night.
