During this time, a large number of villagers reached the spot and informed the officials about it. On receiving the information, ADM Upendra Kumar and other officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. According to the information, the bridge built on the river in Deoria village collapsed. Its length was 30 feet and width were 12 feet. This bridge had three pillars.

The bridge was constructed in 2004

This bridge was constructed in 2004 with the funds of the then MP Prabhunath Singh. The department was still preparing for an inquiry regarding the collapse of this bridge, when in a short while, the bridge built on the Chhadi of Gandak river between Teghra village of the same block also collapsed.

These two bridges also collapsed

The length of this bridge was 13 feet and width eight feet. This bridge had two pillars. This bridge was constructed 35 years ago by collecting donations by the villagers. At the same time, a short time later, the bridge near Sikandarpur-Nautan village also collapsed.

The length of this bridge is 15 feet, and the width is 10 feet. This bridge has three pillars. This bridge was constructed in 1998 at a cost of six lakhs from the fund of the then MP Prabhunath Singh. It has not been repaired till date.
