Team India Playing XI 3rd T20I
Team India, led by Shubman Gill, defeated Zimbabwe by 100 runs in the second T20 match and leveled the 5-match series 1-1. After losing the first T20 match by 13 runs, Team India played excellent cricket in the second match and defeated Zimbabwe by a huge margin of 100 runs.
Team India’s young brigade, which went on Zimbabwe tour, failed to chase the target of 116 runs in the first match. However, in the second match, India scored a huge score of 234-2 on the basis of Abhishek Sharma’s 46-ball century. Apart from Abhishek Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad (77) and Rinku Singh (48) also made important contributions.
The third match of the 5-match T20 series between India and Zimbabwe will be played on Wednesday, June 10. This match will be played at Harare Sports Club Harare. As per Indian time, this match will also start at 4.30 pm. Currently, Team India is tied 1-1 in this series. Zimbabwe won the first match by 13 runs.
Entry of these players before the third T20I
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Shivam Dubey have returned to the Indian team for the third T20 match. These players were part of India’s T20 World Cup winning team and were given a break from the first two matches so that they could celebrate the World Cup victory.
The return of all three can prove to be a headache for the team management as it will not be easy to include them in the final eleven as all the players performed brilliantly in the second T20 match. Yashasvi Jaiswal will replace Sai Sudarshan but to include Shivam Dubey, the team will have to drop Rinku Singh. But the possibility of this seems very less as he played an explosive innings of 48 runs in 22 balls in the second match.
If Sanju Samson returns to the playing XI, then Riyan Parag will have to be dropped, which also does not seem likely. In such a situation, Samson and Dubey may have to sit out in the third T20 match as well. In such a situation, only one change can be seen in the third match. In such a situation, apart from including Jaiswal in place of Sai Sudarshan, no change is seen.
