WCL 2024 Semi Final
The World Championship of Legends 2024 tournament has reached its final stage. This tournament is being played at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, England.
Six teams have participated in this tournament – Team India, Australia, Pakistan, England, South Africa and West Indies. The 15th match of the tournament was played between Team India and South Africa on Thursday.
Despite losing to South Africa in this match, India has made it to the Champions Semi-Finals. On the basis of better run rate, Team India has confirmed its place in the Semi-Finals. Apart from India and Pakistan, Australia and West Indies have also made it to the Semi-Finals. Now it is the turn of the Semi-Finals, the matches of which will be played tomorrow i.e. on 12th July.
Now in the semi-finals, while West Indies will face Pakistan Champions, India Champions will face Australia Champions. Both these matches will be played on 12th July. The match between West Indies and Pakistan will be played from 5 pm as per Indian time, while the match between Australia Champions and India Champions will start at around 9 pm. The teams winning the semi-final match will reach the final directly and the final of this tournament will be played on 13th July.
Harbhajan Singh bowled brilliantly
While bowling for India Champions, on one hand Harbhajan Singh took four wickets for 25 runs in four overs, while Dhawal Kulkarni, Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi and Yusuf Pathan got one wicket each. Yusuf Pathan scored the most runs for India Champions. Yusuf Pathan played a brilliant innings of 54 runs in 44 balls and took his team to the semi-finals by hitting a four on the last ball.
