Zepto has been facing criticism from the general public on social media after a user raised the issue of the extremely high price of Rs 131 for 100 grams of coriander on the quick commerce platform.
However, Zepto said that a system glitch “led to significant price disparities” across the platform and that the issue has now been resolved. The company said that the correct prices are now being displayed on its platform.

Zepto faced criticism after a Gurugram user found that 100 gm coriander leaves were listed for Rs 131 on Zepto. The person brought the matter to the notice of the brand after sharing the same with a screenshot in a post on ‘X’.

Many expressed outrage and surprise, while some highlighted that the exorbitant prices on the platform are in stark contrast to roadside vegetable vendors giving away free coriander bundles with vegetables to lure buyers.
