Could ‘Darling’ be a stranger movie inspiration?
Don’t Slpit personality can appear common. But these two movies are different in terms of story and conflict. In Aparichitudu, Shankar dealt with social issues on a large scale. Dealing with home issues in Darling (laughs).
Prabhas is called Darling by all. On putting the same title?
Prabhas’ darling cult hit movie. Everyone in our unit knows that everyone calls Prabhas darling. But the title Darling is apt for this story. Darling is a term used by wife and husband to endearingly. This is a perfect title for our film. So far, there has been a very positive response from Prabhas’ fans. After watching the movie, the audience will say that this is the perfect title.

Does the darling smile? Also, a message with an emotional touch?
I don’t like texting. When I watch a movie, I only see that it should be entertaining. I like to make films with a social responsibility while being entertaining. Darling is also a movie that did that.
Darling seemed like a clean family entertainer. And the Censor Board on giving U/A certificate?
In this we deal with split personality disorder. It is a sensitive disorder. U/A was given for that reason. Not a single cut was said. It is a very clean film. Children can watch in the presence of adults. The Censor Board and everyone who has seen the movie so far liked Darling very much.
Wife and husband stories haven’t come much lately, have you? What are your expectations regarding Darling?
Wife and Husband is a similar to love story. This is a story that shows a different perspective in handling marriage. Definitely entertains everyone.
Wife and husband ‘Rajarani’ comes to mind. Will there be any comparisons to that movie?
I worked as an assistant director for Rajarani. Rajarani is a perfect example of a romantic comedy. I learned a lot from that movie. Darling presents a different perspective on wife and husband. I have worked for three films under the production of Muragadas. I have also worked for Dhanush’s film.
