Coming into the ring with a huge target of 255 runs, Australia lost seven wickets in twenty overs and scored only 168 runs. Defeated by 86 runs.
Australia’s batsmen struggled to score runs as India’s champions bowlers bowled tightly. Opener Shaun Marsh scored two runs and Aaron Finch was dismissed for 16 runs.
The rest of the batsmen were also unable to make huge scores, which ensured Australia’s defeat. In the end, the team fined 40 off 32 balls with three sixes and two fours, Nathan Coulter-Neale’s 30 off 13 balls narrowed the gap to defeat. Pakistan win over West Indies
In the other semi-final, Pakistan champions entered the final after winning against the West Indies champions. In this match, Pakistan champions scored 198 runs in twenty overs… West Indies scored only 178 runs in Lakshma Chedana and lost by twenty runs.
