India Post GDS Recruitment
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Notification Released. 44,228 posts will be filled in various circles across the country. GDS, Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster or Dak Sevak vacancies are filled through this notification.
It should be noted that the online application for these posts has started from 15th July. Last date of application is fixed as August 5, 2024. The selection for these posts is based on the marks obtained in class 10th.
Kha in Telugu states
Online application for jobs can be made through indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The age of those applying for these jobs should be between 18 to 40 years. The maximum age relaxation is five years for SC and ST, three years for OBCs and ten years for disabled persons. There is no application fee for SC, ST, PWD, Transwomen candidates. The rest will have to pay Rs.100.
656 vacancies will be filled in Andhra Pradesh. Also, applications are invited for 454 posts in Telangana. Interested candidates from Telugu states can apply for these posts.
What is the salary?
Candidates will be appointed as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak. Salaries for the posts are as follows: For ABPM / GDS Rs. 10,000 to Rs.24,470, for BPM will be Rs.12,000 and Rs.29,380. Anyone between 18-40 years with 10th class certificate can apply.

- Visit India Post official website www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- Register with your details here.\You need mobile number, email id to register with password
- After the registration number is generated, login and pay the fee.
- Then apply for the posts of interest.
- After that you have to select the division.
- After that photograph, signature… should be uploaded as per the mentioned format.
- You must also select the Divisional Head of the Division you are applying for. Your documents will be scrutinized at the next stage of recruitment.
How to select?
Candidates will be shortlisted according to the merit list. The merit list will be based on the marks obtained in class 10th. Details of selected candidates will be uploaded on GDS portal. Verification details will be sent to your mobile number and email.
