Women Asia Cup 2024
After achieving a spectacular victory against South Africa, the Indian women’s team has reached Sri Lanka. The Women’s Asia Cup 2024 is going to start from July 19 under the hosting of Sri Lanka.
The title match of the tournament will be played on 28 July. In this match, the Indian team will play under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, while Smriti Mandhana has been made the vice-captain. Uma Chhetri, who made her debut against South Africa, has also been included in the team. Team India, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, is the most successful team in the Women’s Asia Cup. The team has won the title 7 times out of 8 times.

A total of eight teams will participate in the Women’s Asia Cup 2024. All the teams have been divided into two groups. In this, seven-time champion India, Pakistan, Nepal, UAE team have been included in Group-1. Similarly, host Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand team have been included in Group-2.
