And with the Raksha Bandhan holidays on the fourth day, Sunday (August 18) and Monday (August 19), there are chances of this movie getting more huge collections. Also starring Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan, this Tamlan movie is an eye-opener based on the original story of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). Vikram’s performance in this is being appreciated by the audience.
How is Thangalaan?
Director Pa Ranjith directed this movie as an action-adventure thriller adding a treasure hunt to the struggle of a tribal tribe for freedom. The entire story of Thangalaan takes place in the backdrop of 1850. Tangalaan (Vikram), a tribal leader from Veppur lives a happy life with his wife Gangamma (Parvathy) and five children.

Thangalaan OTT platform is fixed. Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights of this movie. It is reported that Netflix has bought the OTT rights of Thangalaan along with Telugu and Tamil for a total of 35 crores in all five languages. It is said that this movie is going to come in OTT after eight weeks. It is known that the producers have signed an agreement with Netflix to release Thangalaan in OTT in the second week of October.
