Mr Bachchan OTT Release Date
It is reported that Ravi Teja’s Mr. Bachchan movie is going to hit OTT within a month of its release in theatres. Netflix has acquired the OTT rights of this Bollywood remake movie. It is reported that Netflix has bought the digital rights of Mr. Bachchan’s movie in southern languages for around twenty-five crores before its theatrical release.
Releasing on September 12…
Mr. Bachchan is rumored to release on Netflix OTT on September 12. It is said that this movie is likely to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages on the same day. It is reported that Mr. Bachchan’s OTT release date will be clarified in the first week of September. If the same date is true, there will not be a gap of even a month for the theatrical release…OTT.
As an Independence Day gift…
Directed by Harish Shankar, the movie released in theaters on August 15 as an Independence Day gift. Bhagyashree Borse made her entry into Tollywood as a heroine with this film which was a remake of the successful Raid in Bollywood. Ravi Teja’s comedy timing in the teasers and trailers and Bhagyashree Borse’s glamor in the promotions created a good buzz on Mr. Bachchan. But it failed to meet the expectations, and it flopped at the box office on the first day. Mister Bachchan remains a disaster due to an outdated story. Along with Ravi Teja, Harish Shankar got a big shock.

Criticisms on changes and additions…
Hindi movie ride goes seriously. But in the name of changes and additions, director Harish Shankar made Mr. Bachchan a comedy love story. The changes were severely criticized. Ravi Teja and Bhagyashree Borse’s love track and the way their chemistry was shown in the film, the director was trolled by the fans.
32 crores target…that’s all…
Due to Ravi Teja’s craze in Telugu states, Mr. Bachchan’s movie did a pre-release business of 31 crores. The movie released with a break-even target of 32 crores and collected only 8 crores by the end of the first week. The producers were left with a loss of up to twenty-five crores.
Out of theaters…
In the first week itself, almost all the theaters of Mr. Bachchan’s movie were lifted. It is reported that due to the theatrical result, Mr. Bachchan’s movie is being released in OTT earlier than expected.
Jagapathi Babu played the villain in Mr. Bachchan movie. Satya, Praveen, Jhunsi and Sachin Khedkar acted in key roles. In competition with Mr. Bachchan, Ai movies starring NTR’s brother-in-law Narne Nithin as hero along with Independence Day Ram, Puri Jagannath Double Smart, Vikram Tangalan came before the audience. Except Ai, the rest of the films failed to impress the audience.
