Stree 2 is one of the highest grossing movies released in 2024. This horror comedy movie, which came as a sequel to the movie Stree,, which came out less than six years ago, i.e. in 2018, was opened with a budget of only Rs. 60 crores. Released on 15th August on Independence Day, the release was a hit.
So far, within 11 days, it has achieved gross collections of Rs. 560 crores worldwide. Moreover, there are no big stars of Bollywood in this movie.

Stree 2 is a woman centric horror comedy movie directed by Amar Kaushik. Such a movie is earning more than Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster last year. Stree 2 became the highest grossing Hindi film in the first weekend of this year.
After that it easily reached Rs.400 crore and Rs.500 crore mark. In fact, this movie collected Rs. 25.8 crores on the sixth day. It is remarkable that this is more than last year’s highest-grossing movie Jawaan’s sixth-day collections (Rs. 24 crores).

Looking at the collection of Rs.93 crores in the second weekend, it seems certain that the film will reach the mark of Rs.750 crores worldwide. For a film with a budget of just Rs.60 crore, this is a lot.
